We're probably still a couple years out before our family is ready for European travel, but I've started doing some research into DCL Europe cruises.
While we would probably do most ports on our own or through private tours, the DCL cruises do seem to have a handful of "Signature Collection" excursions that look intriguing and would help justify the generally higher DCL prices and limited sail dates. (My understanding is that while you could visit these sites on your own or through other tours, some of the special activities are exclusive to Disney. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
However, my concern is regarding availability of these Signature Collection excursions since we would only be silver level Castaway Cay members. In particular, we are interested in the excursions that help bring history to life, especially for kids (e.g. Royal Ball @ Catherine's Palace in St. Petersburg, Viking Village Experience @ Alesund, Beatrix Potter excursion from Liverpool, castle living history type activities, etc.).
How early do these types of excursions tend to sell out on Europe cruises? Thank you!
