Sign Up for DME But Not Use It?

We may be on the fence as to our travel options this Oct., if rentals are reasonable we'll do that, Tiffany is always an option and for the first time I'm thinking of using DME to get from MCO to BW, renting a car at S/D for a few days then possibly returning to MCO via DME. What happens if we sign up for DME but don't use it on arrival? Having not used it to get to BW can we use it to go back at trip's end?

You have the option of one trip each way; you will get two vouchers per person for each trip to your resort and back to MCO.

Not using it on the way in does not negate your entire reservation.

Just make sure they have your accurate flight/return time information for the return, because that determines the exact time of your return trip to MCO.

You will be fine if you sign up for DME but then opt not to use it on arrival to get to WDW but still want to use it to go back to MCO when you check out. We've done this several times. They will not cancel your return reservation on DME if you don't use it to get to WDW.
