We have 3 familys going in March so within 3 or 4 weeks we will be hearing results.

I used the code too! I originally booked the Dolphin for $125 a night for 8 nights. But I got the Poly for $197 a night plus tax. So I decided to split my stay. I'm going August 22-26th.

They have cracked down on the use of the code and are only allowing it to be used with reservations of people who have a pin code attached to their name. The best thing to do is call CRO and see if you have a pin code attached to your name. Just calling with "the code" won't help anymore - sorry.

Not necessarily true. Someone reported calling & getting it yesterday morning. But yeah, it is definitely more difficult than it was 3 weeks ago...

There have been a couple posters last night and today that have indeed been able to use the code without having a pin attached to their names. It just depends on what CM you get when you call.

I added a day to my poly reservation and changed the dates no problem. Id be careful though because if they seem hesitant or questioning then just keep your original reservation and call back later.

I'm assuming that you paid rack rate for AKL in September? As for the code there was one on the Dis boards....well actually it was a link to another site is where I got mine. As far as I know the link is gone; but then again it might still be out there. A few posts back there were others that talked about the code and you might want to read what they said about it.

OK,

So I had a ressie for Sept 2-9, AKL Savanna view $3,500.00 that with no discount,
After reading some posts here I decided to try the code but he honest I didn't recive a post card.

So I just called, she said they had no codes but asked what I had she tried to put it in the system, She said they had nothing for that view, so I said, "Okay, what about anything at the poly?'

she gave me Garden view room at poly for $2,800.00

IS THAT GOOD FOR THE POLY? she said that was with the code I gave her..

I said a friend had been given the code and I dn't recieve anything in the mail or anything, she said all I needed was the code

So that is that.. But now I am at the Poly not AKL..

I'm soo excited!!!

Called and tried both codes but she asked for a PIN both times and said nothing else available. I decided to cancel my reservation and get my $ refunded as I need it now. Maybe this will flag me to receive something. I still have plenty of time to book. It is frustrating to know other people are getting rooms a lot less than me and I am really struggling to pay for this trip.

That does not matter. I got a pin code (postcard) in 2005 and had NEVER stayed onsite. (Well I stayed at FW in 1991 with my best friend's family but I was 17 and probably not even on ressie). So the only reason my name was in their "system" was due to being on their marketing list some other way, ie, signed up for mailing list, ordering DVD, etc. You just never know.

I just called and checked something on my reservation (wanted to make sure it included dining)
I told her I didn't have a postcard and she said I shouldn't be getting the deal than.
And I said that the lady I talked to this afternoon said I didn't need the postcard and booked it for me with the code, She said that they would have to honour it than because it had been given to me..
