We will be going June 3-10, staying at GF. I was given the code with no pin.

My parents and my sister and my neice will be going August 12-18 staying at a value, but I'm not sure which one. She used the code also with no pin. And I posted about this last night, but she was able to move her reservations outside the dates and they still applied the 40% off.

OMG...get this....I called Disney today cause they didn't have the baby listed on the papers and they had my 7 year old daughter listed as a boy. So I called to change this and the CM and I were gabbing over nothing really special and then she says....hey wait a moment...I see you used a code. (I swear my eyes were HUGE.) I wanted to say...DON'T LOOK AT THAT... so she looks at it and says "oh okay" and then she paused. Something wasn't adding up. I could tell. After about a minute she starts talking again and says everything is fine. No problems. Oh my gosh...I though I was going to have a heart attack. Atleast she said that the code was fine and no problems with my ressie; so I'm not going to worry anymore over it...plus I dare not call anymore just incase I get that one Disney CM that is having a bad day and takes it out on me and takes my code away. No more phone calls! Time will tell.

Could someone pretty please fill me in on "the code". I called to add two days at POR and asked if there was a discount in my name and she said NO...
We are renting dvc points from june 3-8, staying at POR june 8-10, renting dvc points again from June 10-15. Am I just out of luck?

You can add me to the list. I called once, was told no code. Called again, no code. Called the third time and the CM applied the code. I've switched from a package w/DDP at a garden wing room at CR to room only MK view CL at Poly to a king bed room Tower Club level at CR then I added on another night.

And I'm not making any more changes because I'm probably already pushing my luck

So we'll be there Dec 9-16 Tower Club level at CR (we actually also be staying at BWV Dec 2-9, so two whole weeks!).

BTW, a few days after I booked with the code a postcard did show up in the mail. But it wasn't address to me or DH. It's some guy who used to live here at least two people before us. He's gotten two PIN code postcards in the year we've owned the condo. Too bad for him he hasn't updated his address. Too bad for us that they're not supposed to be transferable.

I called today and got a fantastic deal with the code. Or at least I think it's fantastic lol

I booked Dec 19-27th at AS Music. I wanted a family suite but there were none available. I think it's because I put arrival as the 19th to get the value rate.

She said she could get us 2 connecting rooms guaranteeing the connecting since we have kids.

She quoted me 4819.24 including 8 day hoppers, dining, and insurance.

I asked if "the code" would work for my reservation. She checked. Asked me to hold on. I was sweating bullets waiting to see if she was going to come back and yell at me lol. She came back and said with the code the price will be 4222.60 !

I save almost 600.00 ! So I booked it lol Put down the deposit and everything.

She suggested MVMCP. Talked to me about my DD who was laughing and playing in the background. Talked about our last trip.

This is so cool. She was very nice and helpful.

I can't wait to get it paid off now !

So it looks like Disney is still allowing to book the code without a Pin. Sounds like our reservations will be safe. What great deals we all got!

Uh Oh ! A friend called today to use the code to try and get a discount on her booking. The CM told her that the code was attached to a specific address and she did not qualify. She told her that her friend had used it yesterday. The Cm told her that I shouldn't have been able to.

Don't know if it was just that CM or if they are stopping it now !

I got the 40% discount for late August a few weeks ago without a code or pin - I just asked if there were any discounts at that time. My confirmation does have hwat I believe is a code on it (Z--). I called yesterday to change my dates by a few days, sure they would not let me because I never gave a code or pin when I made the original reservation, and they changed the dates for me with no problem.

There has been so much controversy about this code/pin business. If Disney is as worried about it as some of the posters here, why aren't they doing more about it? I never even asked to keep the same rate when I called yesterday...but I honestly would have stayed at the Swan before paying rack rate at the Poly if they hadn't given it to me.

Thank you.... she's Disney's newest princess. Princess Kendyll will be signing autographs on September 12th in Magic Kingdom while she is awaiting to be awarded the castle suite for the night.


I wish! I'm just lucky enough to be in Disney with my family. Anyways..enough of that....Thank you....Kendyll is my baby doll!

I had to add a day to my trip because I got a great airfare. hinted about discounts but the best I got was AAA rate. Didn't mess with my previous code reservation from AAA because I didn't want to call attention to it and didn't think we needed to pay for a Poly night when we were getting in at 7P so we are going to the POP for 73$
