I'm going to WDW in May and would like to know where I can find out when the shows will be interpreted. I can't seem to find any details on WDW website about the services available. Also, I read something about hand-held captioning - does it work good?

The hand-held captioning devices are the best! You have to give them a $50 deposit each time, but they return your deposit when you return the device. My daughter had no clue as to how much she was missing until she used the hand-held device last summer. You will love it.

Guest services will help with an interpreter. They're really good about it.

Unless they have reduced it recently the handheld captionig devices require a $100 deposit.
Schedules for the interpreted shows can be obtained from Guest Services at any park or requested by mail by calling guest services.
Send me a PM if you want specifics.
