Hi all!

We usually get a preferred sight, but never end up watching any TV. This time we are going with a full hook up, and bringing vidios for DS who must have a little TV for bed time. My question is, will we get any channels at all? Sometimes we can pick a few channels with just the antenna up.................any one ever get a few local stations without the cable?
We'll be there in just 3 weeks!

We get a few channels--enough to catch the weather. Some are clearer than others. We have an antenna amplifier. Usually the Wheel of Fortune channel comes in really clearly.

We always get a preferred site except for our last visit. Didn't want to spend the extra $$$. We were able to get all channels except for the Disney channels that they run thru their cable. We only had the standard antennae with amplifier on our camper. Would probably always go without cable except I like the location of the preferred sites - they are closer to the marina. Since we have gotten rather discouraged with the FW buses that go to the other parks (AK, Epcot and MGM), we have decided to drive to them. So I like to be close to the marina and Trails End. Just our preference.

I had pretty decent reception with a small portable tv. Going into it I had the same question but was pleasantly suprised.

My friend brought a small portable tv with her in December and got decent reception in Loop 1500 (partial hookup). She used it mainly cause she's used to going to sleep with the tv on.

I never use a tv at Ft. Wilderness.
