ok - still on day 1=)
myself 32
Dh 35
DS 11
DD 8
DD 6

So, we are all wet and head off to Jurassic Park. We figured might as well get all wet rides over with - so off to ride JP. 6yo again little worried with this ride. Not sure how scary, etc. Try to reassure her - have her sit in the middle - and she did better than Spiderman. We then head over to the Pterandon Flyers where Dh and 6ypDD wait for 30mins(no express) and the older kids go play in the playground. I try and dry self off in the sun.

We then all did the Unicorn Flyer - and the kids went on a couple more times , while I try to dry off in the sun=)

Then we head towards Dueling Dragons. Now, 6DD thought she wouldn't mind this one, go figure. So we have her measured again and this time they say she's fine. Guess it's all on who is out there measuring. She LOVED this ride. You can trhow her body upside down, twist it around...just don't have Anyone throw pumpkins at you and bounce the car around! haha

We then went to the Sinbad show...everyone loved this...and the Fountain in front is hilarious=)
I figured Poseidons Fury might be just a bit to much for the kids so we head to Dr Suess land - we did the entire park by 2:30!
I can't say enough for Express pass. Neither can my kids.

We went back to the hotel and went swimming. The pool was nice and warm and everyone had a great first day.

Our second day we decided to take the kids to Wet and Wild. We had our car and it was jsut a 5min drive there. It's great to be a Fla.resident - it only cost $24 per person. I am not much of a waterslide person but I was still able to enjoy myself. They have slides where all 5 of us could slide down together - and not get that wet....they have the lazy river..again perfect - and if anyone wants to know more about WnW , just ask=) We stayed there for 5 hours.
Then went back to the hotel, quickly changes and went over to Universal. WE went on Shrek 4D - where my 6yo opted not to grab any 3D glasses...just to intense for her again. Then went over to Jimmy Neutron where everyone enjoyed it and pictures with Spongebob were right after.
And as soon as you walk into Universal - they always have characters there - we saw Shrek, Liza thornberry , Tommy, Angelica, Jimmy Neutron and many others.

Darn, Dh hungry ....haha...gonna go grab something to eat and I'll finish later!

How tall is your 6 yr old? My 8 yr old is still a couple of inches too short for Hulk and Dueling Dragons. Maybe he will have a growth spurt in the next 23 days!

I am enjoying reading about your trip.

Sounds like a good couple of days thanks for sharing:jester:

My 6yo measured 53" at her docs visit beginning of April - that was barefoot - so we made sure she put on her thickest sneakers she had=) She's a big girl - weighs 90lbs - and everyone always thinks she is older - but then you get her to smile and she's missing the front teeth! hehe
Hoping the growth slows down one of these days for her! haha

Great report so far!!!!

I know what your going through with your dd. my dd is 8 and is bigger than her 10 yr sister! Everyone thinks she is older and expects so much more from her. Sometime we do too. She is terrified of rollercoasters..........we tricked her onto Atlantis last year in seaworld (not one of my proudest moments :rolleyes1 ) and she hated it. Cried and Cried once it was over. We felt sooooo bad. It's is so frustrating though. Shes physically tall enough...just not mentally tall enough. Sigh. Maybe this year......
