Sides at Signatures? Are they included in PDP?

Hey y'all!

I'm noticing that a few of the signatures don't really include side dishes with their entrees. Is a side dish included with my meal on the Premium Package? I'd rather not have to pay OOP to get a green vegetable.

So far, I see that this applies to:
Artist Point
Fultons

Do youall know of others?

Thanks!!
Edited because I was unclear.

Unless the side is part of the description of the entree you would have to pay extra.

For example, Artist Point: Char-grilled Buffalo Striploin Steak - with marble potatoes, garden vegetables, and Shiraz Gastrique $43.00

You'll get potatoes and veggies with the steak but if you want the maple glazed carrots from the sides section, you'd have to pay extra.

Actually at Artist Point, sides have been included on the DxDP every time I've gone there with the plan (3 times). The other signatures (Yachtsman, Flying Fish) don't seem to include sides on the plan.

Thanks for that info about Artist Point. I haven't dined there in over 10 years. I only used their menu as an example since OP mentioned it. It's likely at the discretion of each location and Artist Point never seems overly crowded so that might play into it.

I think the safest option is to expect those other sides to cost extra but always ask and you might luck out - like at Artist Point.

Also when we have used Platinum and Premium in the past, some servers have gone out of their way to add/include items that don't seem to be included based on the brochures. But again, we never expected that but were pleasantly surprised when we got specialty drinks/glasses, for example, and didn't have to pay extra for them.

. . . Also when we have used Platinum and Premium in the past . . .

1) Platinum and Premium are not DDP/DxDP, they are different plans.
2) Sides, and such are included, as well as all appys.
3) And, Fulton's is not on DDP, but is on Prem and Plat.

I never realized that the sides were actually included. All the plat/prem brochures still list the meal as including app, entree, dessert and drink.

Perhaps there are some unwritten rules that go along. Like when DH would get soda with dinner and a coffee with dessert. We never had a problem with that being covered under plat/prem even though technically the literature said only 1 beverage. Of course when we did that on DxDDP we absolutely had to pay (which we expected).

If only plat/prem could be added to a DVC stay.....

No kidding. I definitely agree. It seems like those who go out of their way to support WDW would be allowed to utilize those nicer packages. I guess there is the issue that youall actually stay long enough to get your money's worth from the packages (and then some).
