side trip to Provins with 12th century castle-using #50 bus

For anyone visiting DLP, Provins is an easy day trip using very good, reliable public transit for 2 euros each way right from the bus stop at DLP. Take #50 Marne et Seine (not the pink #50). It is a great way to see the French countryside and see a 12th century medieval town/castle. It makes an excellent 1/2 day trip. Elaine

Agree, it's a lovely place to visit, lots to see there and very easy to get to on the bus. Although I've got to disagree about it being a 1/2 day trip, we spent a whole day there.
