Side Dishes with VKL Vouchers?

Anyone know if it's typical to be able to get a side dish with the lunch vouchers? On the voucher, it says drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert. We just at the steakhouse in the Contemporary. The spinach side dish sounded good, so I asked our waitress and she said it would be included! I got that, and my husband got a side order of mushrooms to go with his steak. They also allowed us to order two desserts each, but that is because their desserts are small and only cost $2.95 apiece.

all the meals we bought had sides with them on the menu but some did let us add the shrimp option to our steak.

If the entree comes with a side or two then it shouldnt be a problem, if it doesnt then its probably up to the server and could be iffy.
We have only ever used our at the RFC and the entree's we order always come with a couple of sides.
