I have created a side-by-side comparison of ride and restaurant ratings from several Disney guidebooks (in Microsoft Excel). The ride comparison (by park) lists the ride name, a brief description and a 1 -5 star rating. The restaurant comparison lists (by park) the restaurant name, type and the rating of its overall quality (*), and cost ($). The ratings are also broken out by appeal to grade schoolers since I have those! (Sorry, I didn't break out the preschool or teen ratings since I didn't need them, but I listed the "scare factor" rated in one of the guides.) I have hesitated to offer these for a few reasons (listed below), but have decided there are enough anal-retentive planners out there (I've seen your posts) who may enjoy it. Please be aware of the following:
1. I accidentally wrote over my ride ratings file
so all I can do for you is mail you the hard copy which has some handwritten notes on it (unless I get a free hour to re-key the thing)
2. I have the restaurant ratings file in Microsoft Excel and could mail that one.
3. One of the guidebooks is outdated (1999), but still somewhat helpful. Guidebooks: The Unofficial Guide Mini Mickey 4th ed (2002), Hassle-Free WDW Vac. (2002), WDW w/kids 2003, Everything Guide...(1999)
4. They aren't "cleaned up and professional" they are just my quick reference guide. They are readable, however. I gave them to two friends who went over the holidays.
If you want a copy, let me know which one(s) you want and send me a personal message through the boards. Remember, if you want the ride ratings one, I'll have to mail it and will need your address. While I mail that one, I'll go ahead and mail the restaurant guide. If you just want the restaurant guide, give me your email so I can send the file.
