Si is West Palm Beach a good airport for vero?

The flights into this airport are a lot cheaper then Orlando. Do you consider this a good place to fly into or is there anything better? We can get good flights though Jet Blue Thanks.

The only thing I found is it doesn't have many flights into it. Yes it was cheaper than MCO, but we about got bumped from our West Palm flight and was offered FLL on NWA. This was over Easter. I'm flying into MCO next time.

We just got back from VB Friday night.......flew home from West Palm Beach .....it's about the same distance from VB as MCO......easy drive.......straight out Route 60 in VB to I95 and straight down 95 to a dedicated exit at the airport. The only thing I didn't like.....we had a National rental and National is not in terminal like at MCO......for return we had to go to their location which was a shuttle ride away and take the shuttle to the terminal with our bags. If we had realized this beforehand DH would have dropped me with the bags at curbside and then taken the car back. Other than that, the airport is very nice.......very easy to navigate ......much smaller than MCO. We did have a 3 hour delay due to weather up the whole East coast Friday afternoon, but, so did MCO because when we got to PHL there were people at the SWA baggage claim area who just got in from MCO.......very delayed also. I think when we go to VB again we probably will use PBI if the fares are the same or lower than MCO.

I think all the car rentals are out of the airport. We used Alamo and their kiosk. Loved watching the people in line look at me as I checked in about 4 minutes and yelled "lets go find the shuttle".

My parents live in Vero Beach and we try to either fly into Melbourne (only Delta flies into here) or West Palm. It is about the same distance as MCO, but it is a quicker and easier drive.

I like West Palm Beach more than MCO, mainly because car rentals are such a pain in the neck at MCO. PBI is a piece of cake. Also, PBI has free internet for when you are stuck in the airport waiting.
