Years and years ago some of the local malls had shuttles that went to the hotels to pick you up. Don't know if they still do that.

Orange County has good public transit. We have been to the mall on a bus. I think we just asked the front desk which bus to take and we had no problems.

You can take the 460 bus from in front of Hojo and at the bus stop at DLR. It is a 15 minute ride and will drop you off at two places across the street from the Buena Park Mall. Runs every half hour or so. It is out of Los Angeles and that is about 2 hours give or take but for a quick run to a mall or Knott's and Wax Museum and the mall that bus is great and disabled friendly.

I thought the Wax Museum was closed?
