Someone mentioned on the best/worst thread that the Comfort Inn has shuttles to the parks "as if you were in Disney". I am not sure if this person has actually experienced staying on site, but I am almost 100% positive that no motel has the level of shuttle convenience that the onsite resorts do. Many off site hotels DO have excellent free service to the parks, I'm just saying don't expect it to be the same. Having said that - I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard DTD last year and was VERY satisfied with the shuttle service - they seemed to run all the time, even though they only took us to the TTC and not to individual parks, and the buses themselves were very comfortable coaches, not the plastic seat wonders that Disney uses, and much less crowded.
Someone also asked about pool and food court at the Courtyard. answer: I did not use the pool - it was December and actually quite chilly, and to be honest I don't think I even SAW it! But I know it was there, so yes, they do have one. No, they don't have a food court - but they do have a nice snack bar in the lobby with quick breakfast foods and good coffee. Right next door there is a family style restaurant - can't remember what it was called. we mostly grabbed fruit/muffin/coffee for breakfast at that snack bar and then ate our other meals in the parks.
