Shuttle transport - are they leaving enough time?

Hmmm just reading Bob's thread about transport.

We have booked a new shuttle company whom I believe no-one has used here yet (although a few have booked) and I'm a little nervous as I know what transport companies can be like

Anyway, our flight home is 17.05 and they are collecting us at 14.20. Do you think is sufficient time? Check in opens at 15.05.

We used a shuttle company last year and they insisted on collecting us at 14.00, even when we asked to delay it a little to get some extra park time.

What do you think? I'd like that extra time in the park but don't want to leave ourselves short - I do recall it being a nightmare at check in at CDG last time!

rs transport is about the same

our check in opens at 7.50pm, and they are collecting us at 7pm

yeah its always been the same for me too. really without traffic its only 30 mins from the santa fe. we have always been there in plenty of time

Ok thanks. It was RS Transports last time and they insisted on collecting us at the earlier time eventhough we asked if they could slip it (got the Concierge to call). Me thinks that perhaps they had another booking or something that they were fitting in at the airport

20 mins extra is great - it all counts

these companies do this trip on a daily basis, so they know the traffic etc and how much "extra" to leave in case they get some extra traffic.

I really wouldn't worry about it - just enjoy the extra time

RS Transports picked us up at 6:15 for a 9:20pm flight, our check in time was 7:15pm, the journey didn't take long at all and check in was very quiet.

I think 3 hours before the flight is about the norm and to be honest about right too. By the time we get to the airport and find our check in desk it is always open and ready for us. Although every time flying back with Easyjet the flight has been delayed, here's hoping that in January they will get it right.
