Shuttle to Universal??

Do any of the Disney Resorts offer shuttles to Universal Studios?

We are do a cruise on the Magic August 2009 and thought about one day at MK and one day at Islands at Universal, and part of a day at DTD. I want to stay at a Disney Resort, but curious about transportation to Universal.

Ha. Ha. NO. The idea is to keep you on Disney property. The only off site places that Disney will take you is their cruise terminal and the airport. If they could, they would have an airport on site.

Sorry ... not for all the pixie dust in the world!! ... however you can take a taxi to Universal or call Mears Transportation and arrange to get on one of their shuttles. (We've used Mears from WDW Resorts a few times with no problems.)

Disney does not provide shuttles to competive theme parks. In fact, if you ask for directions, they will be probably tell they have no idea. We took one of the many transportations to Universal in the past. I believe it was Murray Transportation. It cost about $70.00 for a round trip.

I figured they didn't, but thought I would ask, just in case! I guess I will just stay somewhere else! I found some great looking places that offer shuttles to both places! Or just save our Disney experience for the cruise, and do Universal and Seaworld before.

sure they do. They also sell discounted Universal Tickets at all the WDW gift shops

FYI ... some offsite hotels that offer free shuttles offer very limited shuttle service ... for example, it may be ONE bus @ 9am to get there and ONE bus at 10PM to get back to the hotel ... other places only accommodate parties of 4 or less ... whatever you do, don't book an offsite hotel for the free shuttles without being sure what that service is exactly.

There is a section on the Disboards just for Universal. The folks there are very helpful and would be happy to answer any questions you have about traveling to Universal from Disney. We always drive, so I'm not familiar with the transportation options.
