Shuttle to Disney Car Care Center

To save some $$$ we are flying into Tampa instead of our usual Orlando.
To save some additional $$$ rather then rent a minivan (there are 6 of us) for the entire week we are just renting it for a day each way.

So I need to drop the minivan off at the car care center on Sunday morning and then pick it up again the following Friday afternoon.

We are staying at Saratoga Springs. What's the best way to accomplish this. Sunday we are going to MK so after I drop off the car would the shuttle give me a ride to MK?

Picking up on Friday would be more difficult as we will be in AK during the day.

I believe the Car Care Center shuttles go to the TTC, so it would be easy to get to the MK via monorail or ferry boat from there.

We have had to drop off in the car care center before...They will drop you anywhere....I would have your concierge or front desk call over just to let them know but they have shuttle buses going all the time. We usually try and drop off and have them take us where ever we have a breakfast reservation

The Alamo/National car rental at the car care center offers a shuttle service to/from anywhere on Disney property. To get picked up, you need to make arrangements a day in advance (at least that was what they told me). I called the day before and we arranged a specific pick up time; they told me they run once an hour. If you have a specific time schedule to adhere to, make sure you leave enough time to account for the fact that the shuttle may go to other pickups before getting you to the car care center (my shuttle made 4 stops). To get dropped off, just pick up the shuttle right where you drop off the car and tell the driver where you are headed. Shuttle times are limited, it was 7am-7pm when I was there last year.

Your other option is to use the National counter at the Dolphin hotel. While it has shorter counter hours, you can drop back off to the hotel valet at any time (unless something has changed in the last year or so). This could be easier since you could just use the Disney buses to get there and back.

That's good to know about the shuttle to/from the Car Care Center - I've been wondering what will happen after I drop the car off since we're currently doing a one way rental from the airport. Thanks!

Something to keep in mind about whether you are dropping off at the Car Care Center vs. Dolphin - just because they are both on property doesn't mean the rental rates to/from each location will be the same. I'm currently saving $60 by dropping off at the CCC!
