Looking for an off-site hotel that provides shuttle service to all the parks. Don't really care to rent a car. Does anyone have any suggestions? Looking at the Marriott vacation hotels, but open to any suggestions. thanks!

I don't have any specific recommendations, but many others on this board have reported that those off-site hotel shuttles are in general very inconvenient due to crowding and poor scheduling. Might be well worth it to rent a car to avoid the frustration on your vacation.

I have heard good things about Bonnet Creek hotels. They are off site though because of the road ways many think they are on site.

But anyway I have also mostly only heard bad things about off site shuttles (including Bonnet Creek).

For any of them though you really have to ask how often they run and where do they go. Most only run a few loops in the morning and a few at night. Also I think most drop you off at the TTC and you then oyu have to use Disney Transportation to get to where you want to go.

I agree with the comments about the off-site shuttles, with the exception of the Downtown Disney hotels (Hilton, Doubletree, Royal Plaza, Best Western, etc.) on Hotel Plaza Blvd. They have regular shuttle service, while off-property shuttles can be erratic, and if you miss your ride back, you've got a problem.

Car rates, especially last minute, seem to be pretty attractive right now, so I would consider looking. However, unless you have an AP, you'd have to pay parking each day.

Also, consider staying on site...maybe at an All-Star. Bus service is regular and you don't have to deal with a car, transportation to/from the airport, etc.

I relied on an off site shuttle from a Marriott property near the convention center...two words...NEVER...AGAIN. It ran to Epcot at 8am and 11am, and back to the hotel at 6pm or 10:30pm, and only dropped off/picked up in the offsite lot at Epcot. So from there you then had to transfer to whatever park you wanted to go to. It was a shared shuttle with other offsite hotels & was usually full to capacity before it even got to ours. You had to sign up every day, the night before, to get a spot - which meant you had to be at the hotel at that time, not out enjoying the parks. One night it didn't show up in the way-out-there Epcot lot til 11pm. It was extremely frustrating!

I wouldn't stay off site without renting a car. I've never heard from anyone who was happy with the shuttles from offsite hotels.
