Shuttle Service to Parks from I-Drive

I will be staying at the Rodeway Inn I-Drive this month and I've been debating the value of their free shuttle service to Universal. My main concerns are whether the schedule matches up reasonably well with Universal's operating hours, and whether the shuttle makes a lot of stops before and/or after the Rodeway. Any I-Drive hotel shuttle riders care to weigh in?

Our experience was that the hotel shuttle ran a few times in the morning and a few times in the late afternoon/early evening. It was also shared with other hotels so there were multiple pick-ups and drop-offs. After the first day we ended up renting a car.
