Shuttle Launch Schedule

They finally posted the Launch time at the NASA site....

The time fo rthe Launch is 7:44pm on Thursday November 29th.


It is right in the middle of TOT Event, so we will have to find someway to do them both.

So all suggestions of when and where would be appreceated.

I did post to the theme parks board for their input too.

Thank you, Pat. The ToT entrance and porch is on pretty high ground. And so is the top of the Fantasmic entrance.

Question: If we had tiny, pocket-sized binoculars, would that help at all? Would the little fireball look BIGGER? Just trying to plan ahead. Thanks.

I viewed a launch with my brother and SIL in Feb in front of the YC , He had a small radio with him and we were able to listen to the countdown- it was great.

Binoculars would be somewhat helpful for making out smaller details, but they have to be the kind with a long focal length, not the little opera types... you don't really need them to see it though. And you will be able to see most of it from any clear space, as long as there isn't a building directly to your east.

The amazing thing is that you can hear it from so far away.

This is cool, if it goes on schedule it will be the 4th time I have seen a shuttle launch from Disney property.

This is sooooo cool! In all our trips to WDW we have never been able to time it right to see a launch, although we have always wanted to. I'm sooo excited, I can't wait!!!



Only 7 days 20 hours 22 minutes & 40 seconds to go!!!!! and only 4 more days at this place called "work".....

This is one thing I do not want to miss...WHerever I am I want to make sure I can see it....Have never seen one before and do not want to miss it!
