Shuttle from Port Canaveral to Magic Kingdom

What is the best way to get from Port Canaveral to the Magic Kingdom? We are going on a Carnival cruise in September and there's no way I'm going to be this close to WDW and not visit even if its only for 4-5 hours. I do not want to rent a car and waste time waiting to pick it up and return it. Is there a reliable shuttle service that anyone could recommend or should we get a taxi? It would be 2 to 4 people, most likely just 2. Thank you.

I understand you don't want to rent a vehicle, but it really is the least expensive way to go.

We just came back from a cruise out of Port Canaveral and our flight wasn't until 7:30PM that evening. We signed up for an early debarkation, caught the Budget shuttle and was out of Port Canaveral by 9AM. Spent the day at Disney, left at 4PM for the airport.
Worked out beautifully for us, all for $48 plus $8.50 in gas.
