Shuttle Bus or Car

We will be in Disney March 6-13. Party of 6. Ages 4, 7, 9, 42,42, and an 82 yr old grandmother that gets around almost as well as us 42 year olds. We have always stayed in the Polynesian and used Disney transportaion in the past. This year we will be at All Star Music and can't decide wether to rent a car or use the buses. I guess we are looking to figure out which is quicker and easier especially on the return back to the room late at night when everyone is tired. Assuming cost is not a factor, which is the better choice? Any advice would be appreciated.

You're going to get 50-50 responses to this. Many like to have their own car to get around.
I have been fine with the buses. When you use a car, you have to drive there, park, then get to the park entrance...sometimes using a tram system, which can be troublesome with large groups.

The nice thing about the AllStars is that they don't share with other resorts, just the AllStars. And since you'll be at Music, you may only share with Sports. I found the buses to be fine at Music...no issues at all.
