Shuttle after the cruise

We have a hotel and shuttle booked for our cruise. Coming in the night before. On the way home, everyone except me are going to get on a plane and head home. I am going to WDW for a couple of days. So, so I get off at the airport and take ME to WDW resort, or will the shuttle take me all the way to the resort? Could I arrange it that way? So then, do I take my check luggage with me off the boat to the shuttle, cause I don't want it put on a plane. Hope this makes sense.

I believe you would be on a different shuttle from the remainder of your travel group. There is an alphabetical key on your KTTW card that will let them know you are going to a resort.

I believe you will take your luggage to the bus and they will transport it to the resort with you. You will not be on the same bus as those who are going to the airport.

I'm not sure if it's an option for you to go with your friends to the airport and then take MDE to your resort. I would guess that you could do that but am not sure if you would need to advise Disney of this prior to your sailing as they will have space for you on a resort transfer but will not have allocated space for you on an airport shuttle.

I'm not positive about the answer to your question about the luggage as I would guess it would be taken directly to your resort if you've booked direct port to resort transportation.

DCL transfers (at $35.00 per person) go both to the airport or to the various resorts. So, you'd be saying goodby to your friends at the ship, and getting on two different buses.

You'll claim you bags in the terminal and carry them through customs, then hand them off to the bus driver for the trip (they'll be placed under the bus) to the resort.

We are not using Disney Shuttle. We have a fly, snooze and cruise deal. So I think my best shot is to just go to the airposrt with them and take ME to the resort.

Is your package booked through DCL? Or a hotel package that includes transportation?

If it's through the hotel, then you would have to get your bags from the shuttle driver once at the airport, and then carry them down to the Magical Express check in desk.

Also, be aware that your trip will be about an hour longer going port to MCO to WDW.
