We decided to stay at Grand Vista and swim and hang out for most of teh day... Well when you sleep till noon as the twins and I did theres not too much daylight left!!!
We had Spin Art frisbees at one. and Tie Dye T-shirts at 3 O'clock. All 4 of the smaller kids did both activities, and loved them both....... The Grand Vista has kids activities all day 7 days a week. you could stay at this complex and be entertained almost the entire time... And they got some nice things to take home with them.. There is also an idoor playspace at this property which the kids used several times and thought was just great. we swam a bit in the Pool had pizza Hut ( onsite) and generally had a great time.
When we came back from the activities I had a few phone calls from my Boys Missing teacher... She couldn't find my number and had to wait until Monday when Preschool opened to have another teacher get my cell number off the boys medical cards. they did get lost the first night there being no Friendship Dock and all and we very apologetic I assured them it wasn't thier fault.. After we hung up It just kept nagging me.... and nagging me...... I was so excited to share this with them and her kids were so dissapointed..... So on a whim I called WDW play and asked if they had any canccelations... I figured If it was meant to be they would... ( Whats another 200 dollars amongst friends right)
AND THEY DID!!!!!!! for the next night our last night, I snagged a wishes cancelation.. I called them back gave instructions to the Contempary resort Marina, told them to meet us at 9 sharp! Turns out at 7 they were eating at California Grill already. So it was definately meant to be!
I will say My Mom was not happy about this.....I had to hear how Wishes was better on Main street, and when did I become JD Rockefeller? You get the picture. I heard really is this necessary about 10 times. Between the T-shirts, Frisbees and Now the Cruise we WERE not in agreement about this.... So I told her Then she was welcome to view Wishes from Mian street but I would be on the Boat with the Darrah's....
I went to epcot that night with a little spring in my step.....We did Of course the Big Ball. and spent over 2 hours in the living Seas.. The New Crush show was fantastic, the kids loved it..... did Figment nad of course the Jumping waters... Alison had never done the ball or Figment...

Dd under penalty of death stayed behind at the Grand Vista pool. Mostly because if I had to hear her tell her brothers to shut up one more time I thought I would lose it!!! Turns out she had a great time met some kids from Syracuse.... and asked could we stay a few more days? Are you freaking kidding me???? And no she wasn't kidding....
We split up my Mom took Alison and Kellen to the Countries and the little boys and I went back to the Big ball. I snagged a spot on the bridge for Illuminations and sat for about an hour before the show, both boys actually sat and were no problem... Not one complaint while waiting... there was a very nice 50 ish couple next to us. also having waited an hour..... when 2 minutes to show time some jerk comes up and shoves his 3 kids right in front of them, They were really good sports about it...But ya know... I would never do that If you want that spot wait like everyone else.... then a boy about 13 had those light up drum sticks and during the entire Musical Montage slammed them on the rail... I was so MAD... I said to the guy next to me.. 20 bucks in it for you if you shove those sticks down his throat... Yes, I know very undisney of me... The couple were so kind I ended up giving them as parting gifts Light up ice cubes..... Then we walked back to the Boardwalk where I was valeted.... and Aidan says... Hey guys I have an Idea,, Lets just go upstairs and go to sleep...I said we can't we don't have a room there. He said just call DVC and tell them we need the keys to our house here!!!!I have to say I agree, I really did just want to go upstairs in the Boardwalk and go to bed....
And to the jerks who shoved there kids in front of the very kind couple... We walked behind them all the way to the Boardwalk where tehy continued to be rude to everyone around them... apparently they were entitled.... By the time we got to the bathrooms at the walkway there I was livid... They were blocking the way.. and My Mom was trying to be polite and I said very loudly... MA.... forget it those are the ENTITLED people with the VERY special kids... Can you tell they really bothered me.... The wife said What? I said you are very, very rude... and by the way..... Have a great disney night.....
Off to Mc donalds drive thru at 10 pm nad to bed at Grand vista
