Shut up, No you shut up part 2, An honest trip report.

After a very long night of travel Nana got up at the very ungodly hour of 7am. I ran to the connecting door and threw the bolt shut. see ya....
Then dd and twin ds's and I slept till 11 thirty. AAAhhhh much better, 7am, who is she kidding?

we had already decided to spend this day at the Pool. As we had a late night and were going on an Illuminations cruise this night. Now a little background here. My twins beloved prescool teacher was coming in tonight with her family for the first time ever!!! I was so excited to have scored this cruise I invited her family as a treat to share with us as thier introduction to Disney and as a Thank you for Loving my kids all these years. I had blown up a picture of the dock at the Boardwalk made a card complete with detailed directions and gave it too them.. ( More on this later)

The POFQ pool was great. I loved it. I can see the slide and the stairs to the slide at the same time. This alone will make me a repeat guest here!
we played on the playground swam had a great time. Then a group of little boys from france came over and started sliding... No parent in sight. there were about 4-5 of them maybe they were 11 or so? They started pushing the little ones on the slide. Knocking them over on the stairs. It was ugly. The lifeguard spoke to them soooo many times. But they would smile and say. Parle vou francais? (I am sure that is spelled incorrectly)

This woman comes up with her 2 little ones and we are talking DVC, she wants to buy.. When one of mine comes out crying, he was pushed and got hurt.... So, she marched up the stairs and with hand signals told them enough. Well don't they come down and fill their mouths with water and stand behind us and spit all over her... Well..... then all broke loose. She followed them yelling at them to get out and get your Mother. still no english, now there is quite a ruckus she tells the lifeguard get them out. or she will use some hand signals that are easily understandable.. Suddenly Mom shows up and they are yelling in english that they didn't do anything... So they did understand.. They were removed from the Pool. This lady was a pistol. She was like robo Mom. I asked her if she would go with me and police the character lines for me....



After about 5 servings of biengets.. we got ready for our Cruise... I called wdw play to confirm pick up at the Boardwalk they again tell me.. out front at the friendship dock. I argue can't be. I thought it was back where the Fishing excursions go off she insists, I am mistaken be at the FRIENDSHIP dock by 8 pm..... So off we go... we arrive and there IS NO friendship dock it is under construction.... Now remember we gave very detailed directions to this dock that DOES not exist. I am sick over it.

We run back to community hall and they say no sorry, no boat.. Now I am really hot under the collar..... The girl calls boat services they say OOOPS tell her to get to Beach club before 8 fifteen or she loses her boat.. Oh.... he double L no way...... There are several phone calls and the biggest Jerk_____ RICH______ at boat operations basically says start walking fast. I am furious, Kids are crying, we are dragging them to the beach club. and No teacher... Now I am ready to cry....

We thankfully get a sweetie of a driver Scott. who sends another driver over in the Chris craft to find the teacher and family... To no avail....Scott tried his best but all was ruined for me. I tried so hard to arrange this and wdw play and RICH totally were Rotten... again to Scott, sorry for being such a drag... you were a real trouper and tried your best.

So off to POFQ and bed with some very upset little ones.

Awww...that ranks as a pretty pitiful day!! You have a great attitude about it...I will avoid RICH like the plague and brush up on my French so I can say, "Oui, I do speak French and if you don't stop acting like a donkey, I will have to use my whip to straighten you out." I can't believe they spat on that poor lady! That's horrible!

Well I do speak french and I would have gladly said a few words they would have understood. I cant stand kids like that!!!

Great report so far. Sorry about your cruise. Shame when you try to do something good and it turns out badly.

boy that lifeguard was sweet.

they have dragged kids out of the pool (so language is not a problem) for breaking the rules....

so sorry you went through this.

I would hope for the rest of the times those kids were refused pool entry. (WDW can and does do this).

it must have been a new lifeguard.

the POFQ is know as a baby pool and generally this type of behavior is not accepted.

so sorry you went through that.

not to mention your cruise. They should have told you when you made the reservation that the YC is the only place to ride it. The only dock with boats in the YC/BC - more on the YC side. so sorry!!!
