Has anyone ever been to Shula's??? I want to know if the prices are worth it. Please let me know:D

I think Shula's is well worth the money. It's simply the best beef on property. The key to making the meal reasonable is to split apps and sides. The portions are HUGE!!!!! When you look at the prices at YSH and then smart ordering at Shula's the quality of the beef at Shula's makes it the best beef choice on property

Shula's is definitely worth it.

The food is fantastic and the portions are huge. The service was excellant last time I was there (I'll be back in 2 weeks).

This is definitely my favorite place to dine at wdw.

We loved it too. DH and I each ordered a steak, split a side and split a dessert. We each had one drink with dinner. We were full and satisfied, and spent less than $100, and had one of the best meals ever.

thanks everyone......I think my travel partner will try the steak while I try the 3lbs lobster:tongue:

Not worth it unless you are a strict carnivoir who enjoys haughty service an unDisney-like atmosphere and average side dishes for which you pay ala carte.

Further, they keep the poor lobster on the selection tray, out of water just clicking away as it's slowly dying.:( I know it's a little hypocritical of me, someone who does enjoy most meat and fish, to react this way, but I do favor humane treatment of animals even if we fully intend to eat them...

We didn't find our servers haughty at all! They were a lot of fun - we even pretended to play football with the "menu"! LOL!

We loved Shula's and found it well worth the money. But definitely plan on splitting a side dish and a dessert!

its OK if its un-disney......I mean people say that about the swan and dolphin ALL the time and I enjoyed my stay four years ago:D

I did not find the service 'haughty' or the place 'Un-Disney'.

The service was excellant, very personable and always there when you needed something.

It is not a 'family' restarant, offering no children's menu and a more adult atmosphere. But, I don't feel that makes it un-Disney. As a single adult traveler who loves wdw, I like being able to go someplace nice where I can enjoy a nice meal without kids screaming and pitching fits (I know, everyone's child is so well behaved, but someone is throwing that food :p ).

I look at is as a wonderful adult 'oasis'.

I realize our experiences are all different, but I've been to Shula's twice and the service was substandard both times (as compared to a five star resttaurant...Certainly we have ALWAYS received better treatment at FF, CG or AP)...Perhaps I'll give them a third try since most of the recent reviews seem to indicate they have solved their issues...But if they flunk again, it'll be three strikes and you're out!

As for being un-Disney, I never said this was bad but since most folks go to WDW to be immersed in "Disney" it does seem an important point to be made for those considering going there.

I do think Shula's offers great steak, on this we all can agree.

...and don't forget the free glass of wine they give you while you wait for your table! :hyper:

We just ate at Shula's last night...granted we were in Indianapolis and not WDW. But DH and I loved their filet mignon. DH ranks it third on his list with #1 being Palo's on DCL and #2 being California Grill. The atmosphere is definitely more subdued and adult, but we had great service. We would highly recommend it.

Yes, definitely worth it. I've been to the Shula's at the Dolphin and also the one here in Michigan. This summer I'll be also eating at the one in Indianapolis as well! Worth every penny; A nice relaxing meal.

The lobster bisque is really good too for an appetizer. :bounce:
