We went to Shulas on Dec. 8th., best part it was the baseball winter meetings and who was sitting next to us but...HANK AARON!!! Also, we were 10 minutes late and they gave our table away so we had to wait. I was really mad, but look what happened at the end. We parked our butts right across from the hostess station so she wouldnt forget about us etc.
All I can say is be prepared to spend alot of money. We spent like 150 and we do not drink alcohol. Yeah, we ate alot of food. This was a real special occasion for us. I promised dh he could go there since he held my hand for 2 days when I was in a coma last year and changed my bandage over 300 times.
We even had a TIW 20% discount.
Everyone was dressed well, mostly black for the ladies, men sport coats, polo or tie etc.
We had
DH: grilled shrimp app., lobster bisque soup, special ribeye of the night, (not on the menu),
Me: peach ginger ice tea, crab cake (great), lobster bisque soup (ok), same rib eye,
We shared: twice baked potato, this is not even the whole potato, just one long half, we also shared the creamed spinach, huge portion but very garlicky.
For dessert we shared the chocolate souffle.
The only thing that you didnt have to pay extra for was the bread. They did ask what type of water you wanted.
The service was good, but dh said he would rather try something else next time.
