We are thinking of going here since we are staying at the dolphin. It would be 3 adults and 2 children almost 10 years old. Where could I find the kids menu? Are children really discouraged from going here?
We went in 2007 for DD's first trip. She was four. At first I felt that they were a little short with us. They sat us at a table by the door to the kitchen in a room by ourselves even though there were plenty of tables in nicer areas available. Even our server was a little short at first. Like he was frustrated in having to deal with a child.
DD and I just split a filet. She loves steak. I'm pretty sure they don't have a kids menu. If I remember correctly the CM reminded me of this several times when I was making the ADR.
But by the time we left our server had warmed up to us and the hostesses were very friendly on our way out telling us how lovely our DD was and this and that. I guess they had assumed the worst when we got there and were pleasantly surprised that a child can behave in a restaurant.
