If U Had Wings~ I'd considered doing a liquid fast. I would hope I wouldn't gain the weight back after doing so but just need a boost.
As for me, I'm trying to make sure I eat my WW points or under. I went over yesterday and ended up losing a pound. Not going to argue but I still have to watch it.
The liquid fast was just what I needed for 2 days to really break the cycle of bad eating I was in. Once I went was done with the 2 days I went back to eating food, but I have been really strict with myself this past week.
When I was in high school I had to have surgery on my jaw. It was wired shut for the entire summer. I was on a 100% liquid diet that summer. I lost a ton of weight, but at the end of the summer I was woefully malnurished because I hated those Ensure drinks. My hair had turned brittle like straw (not helped by the fact that I used Sun-In that summer and turned it orange). When I started to eat solids again in September I put all the weight right back on. I'll never intentionally put myself on a all liquid diet for any extended period of time again. It just wasn't for me.
Not going to argue but I still have to watch it.
I think this is one fortune I'm going to keep!
I'll bet you've made tremendous progress.
Part of the problem, I think, is that I've started a new job that I HATE. Hate, hate, hate. And food is comfort for me. I know there are other ways to relieve stress but so far I haven't been able to trick myself into finding a workout as appealing as a burger and fries.
I know how hard it is to hate your job. Did you know you'd hate it before you started or did your former boss do what mine did after you started...become a micromanaging control-freak who plays mind games?

The filed doughnuts had less than that. Good thing my younger niece ended up eating nearly half of it. She liked it so much she was taking pieces out of my hand. For dinner my mother had pizza, which I had a bit too much of, but at least it was plain. It's hard to judge the calories in that though since the online sites usually don't tell you how big of a slice they are counting. My father took us to Rita's for Italian ices afterwards and I split a Key Lime Blendini with my younger niece so at least I got to split the calories with her. Actually she probably ate more than half, because she was telling me I was eating too much.
Good thing I have her to look out for me.
A few more pounds and I'll be able to wear another dress that I had bought this summer, but when it came in was too snug through the hips. I can now zip that one up, but still need to lose a few lbs so I can actually zip it up.
I got them in a lot of pregnancy clothes and they've always been tight or non-wearable. On my way to being much smaller before we move to southern Cali in a two months. Woo!

!!! I am very new to DIS boards, so let me know if I do something I shouldn't!
But then I got in line for the checkout. I patiently waited and perused the hot sheets (gossip mags) and picked up a diet coke. Then out of the corner of my eye did I see it.....
Congrats on the successful grocery store run and avoiding your kryptonite.
