I picked up a t-shirt the other day, and was wondering what the shrinkage was iike? 90% cotton, 10% poly. One size fits me exactly, and the other is little roomier.

Is there normally much shrinkage from disney store shirts?

I find they shrink a lot. And the thinner the shirt, the more it seems to shrink. I would go with the one with a little more room.

My wife bought me a tee from the Disney Store prior to our trip and it was a little bit big. She said I should wash it and it would shrink. I opted to return and get the next size down and am glad I did. It didn't shrink much. I did wash it in cold and low heat on the dryer. I find that has a lot to do with shrinkage on cotton tees.

That said, if it fits perfect right now, I'm not sure I'd risk it. All cotton, even "pre shrunk" clothes seem to shrink a little the first time you wash it.

I have found that they shrink most in length, thus making a short, wide shirt which doesn't fit well on my 5'9" body!:sad2:

I've found more that the sizing is just off than that they shrink. I usually wear a medium top, as I'm short and rather thin. So I bought a long sleeved t-shirt in the adult section without trying it on for once, because I liked the shirt and was short on time. Once I got it home and put it on I felt like I was wearing something that belonged to my kid. It was even small on her, and she weighs under 100lbs.
