Shrimp at 'Ohana

I understand the new menu at 'Ohana includes skewered shrimp. I have dietary restrictions that prevent me from eating ANY spicy food, but so loved 'Ohana last time (with the old menu).

Are you asking if something can be done about the spices?

I have been told you can request that with your server to have a skewer done without spice, or at a certain cooking level, etc.

ETA: The skewered shrimp was the old menu, then they went to the shrimp in a bowl of somesort, then back to the skewers. I didn't go when it was diff than the skewers but really loved them served that way (though it's messy to peel them!)

I had not thought of seeing if any could be cooked separatedly without the spices. I was just hoping they weren't as spicy as I had heard.

I will definitely ask for them to be cooked without spices, then.

Anybody else done this? Any problems?

We were there earlier this month...I asked for no pineapple on my noodles but the chef said I can have them plain with nothing or how they serve them, the cannot leave out the pineapple. I would ask to talk to the chef.

And yes the shrimp were super spicy which is great for DH but a bit too much for me
