Shrek Fans - come hereth

Actually they had them on sale at our local Blockbuster Video around the time the original came out on DVD and video. That's where we, er, I, got my pair!

I watched the first five minutes of Shrek2 on Nickelodeon with my son last night. There were a couple of good belly laughs just in the first five minutes! The clip of the first five minutes is on nick.com BTW.

We are going to the Shrek Annual Pass event on Friday at Universal Studios: Breakfast with the Shrek characters, then on to the Shrek 4-D attraction (which I LOVE) and then over to the Citywalk Cineplex for a showing of the movie. We all can't wait!

OK, I shouldn't be here right now...I have to go finish packing.

I can not wait to see this movie. I am still trying to talk DH into going this weekend (he hates it when the theater is packed over a 1st weekend opener) so we shall see. I told him I have to see it this weekend, or I will get off kilter:

I have to see Day After Tomorrow next weekend, and then POA the weekend after that!!!!

the last movie I saw IN a theater was Austin Powers 3 (which, IMO, sucked ROYALLY!!)

I have the next 3 Fridays dedicated to seeing matinees by myself...can't wait! (I know I'll want to see Shrek and POA 2x...DH will get dragged the second time!)

Day after tomorrow DOES look good...

hmmm..think I'm going to change my siggy line to a my favorite Shrek line...brb.

Another Shrek fan checking in. I'm definitely looking forward to this one big time. Plus The Day After Tomorrow and HP. I still need to see Troy too. I love it when a lot of interesting stuff come out around the same time.

Froggy, I'm so sorry that you can't go to the theater. It's great that the people at the video store are helping out though.

DH I usually try not to see a movie in theatre unless it is something we really want to see - all others wait for either the $1 movie, or video.

It seems like this summer, we might as well just set up a sleeping back at the theater, as we will be there almost every weekend.

The local theater is hiring for part time help...hmmmm....free tickets are sounding pretty good....

LOL yea, I know what you mean there! I used to work for a couple of theatres here in town. I do miss that perk!

OK, it's probably going to seem as if I've been living under a rock or something but what is "The Day After Tomorrow"?

I'm looking forward to HPPOA and don't forget Spiderman2 at the end of June

Lucky you, Figment 22. Sure wish I were on my way to Universal this weekend. Shrek AP Event, Mummy AP event. What a weekend at UO!

We'll be there for the opening of Spiderman 2, but I don't know that they will make a big deal of it since it is a SONY picture. I am sure we will be able to see it at City Walk, however.
