Shrek 4d Opening Date Answer

To answer your questions, my brother works at USF's Twister, and he has spoken to one of the Tech's working on Shrek:4D. My brother told me that they are opening Shrek: 4D Memorial Day Weekend. Universal Hollywood's and Universal Japan's Shrek:4D will also be opening that weekend.

Would that be a soft opening or the actual opening. There was a pullout in my Miami Herald this morning put out by Universal. It says Shrek will open June 13.

The Grand Opening is in June. Memorial Day weekends must be the soft opening/technical rehersal.

what exactly does soft opening mean? does it mean that it will only be open memorial day weekend to see how it goes and thats it or will it remain open from that weekend on...thanks

Soft-opening for Shrek: 4D is Memorial Day Weekend. My brother told me just now that Shrek's official opening is June 13th.

It means it will be open for you to try out, but it's in the phase where it's working the bugs out and the operating hours could be extremely limited.

Will Shrek have FOTL access? We will be there for 4 days and June 13 is our last day so if it is down more than open will we be able to catch it on opening day with minimal wait?

FOTL will only be available when it's officially open. That's not guaranteed, though, but is most likely.

Is the ride only open certain hours?? We will be going to USF during Memorial Weekend and it would be great to know.....

I hope they have enough bugs to work out that they have it open some on Tuesday and Wednesday of that following week because we will be there then, but not on Memorial Day weekend itself.
