Shows that allow you to eat snacks inside?

What places could we bring in our popcorn bucket or grab a snack to munch on during the show? I was thinking maybe Beauty and the Beast and Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular since they are just covered pavilions. I know that our party is better at waiting if there is food available. :)

I don't recall being able to take food into any of the indoor shows. Seems it would create a mess for the staff to have to clean up if you drop something on the floor in the dark during a show. Outdoor theaters probably allow it since rain will wash away anything that happens to fall on the ground.

Pretty sure the Animal Kingdom bird show is an exception to allowing food in. Not allowed there. For obvious reasons.

Every time I've seen the Tiki Room, I see people eating Dole Whips and other food in the theater. I have never seen anyone be asked to throw it away so I guess that's the only indoor theater that allows it. I mean, I've definitely seen people sneak food into Country Bear Jamboree and Laugh Floor, but it is typically not allowed.

Tiki Room is the only indoor show I know that explicitly allows eating. I know that you can take your Dole Whip in there, so I assume they allow other snacking as well. World finally decided to follow what Land was doing, as Land has allowed Dole Whip in the Tiki Room for years (though both suspended that when face masks were required indoors).

We noticed at the frozen show they said no eating or drinking. Only reason we noticed was the family in front of us was eating an entire packed lunch at the time and continued doing so. We were in the dead center of the theater so I doubt anyone could have easily asked them to stop anyway. I think they also said it before Nemo show but not certain. Can’t remember with lion king show. We never had food at any of them to have a need to pay attention to that.

That has to be something relatively new. I really haven't paid any attention but I do remember going to Disneyland during their 50th and was shocked to see people eating all kinds of stuff in the Tiki Room. I know at the time they didn't allow it in WDW. Then again, if I remember correctly they sold Dole Whips just outside the Tiki entrance in DL.

The Dole Whip place is outside the Tiki Room at WDW too.

No I'm talking about it being right there at the entrance and I'm sure the DL Cult just started going in with the food and it got to the point that it wasn't worth dealing with. WDW's is close but much further away. The last thing I would want to do is go in and sit on some melted ice cream that a kid dropped on it during the previous show.

@goofyernmost, yes, it's a relatively new thing at WDW to eat Dole Whip in the Tiki Room. No idea how long it has gone on at DL, but it was mentioned by CM as we waited that you were welcome to take your Dole Whip into the show when we went in 2016. And you are right, the Dole Whip stand at DL is literally right in the waiting area for the Tiki Room. The stand is two sided so you can be served from outside the attraction, but you can also order and get it from inside the waiting area as you wait for the next show. WDW's Aloha Isle is close, but not that close. You still have to get it and walk down into the waiting area. There seemed to be change in 2018 or 2019 maybe that explicitly started allowing Dole Whip in the Tiki Room at WDW.

I went to DL in 2005, so it has been happening at least that long.
