We have booked the early sitting for dinner. Are the shows scheduled so that we won't miss any? Also, what is the usual dinner rotation on a 3 day cruise?pirate:

They have a 6:00pm show for the late seating and an 8:30pm showing for the early seating, so, you'll be able to catch the shows .... Andy

Instead of thinking of it as early seating and late seating, think of it as "dinner first" or "show first."

For those with early eating
  • 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. — Dinner in one of the three rotation dining rooms
  • 7:45 p.m.-8:15 p.m. — Family shows in various lounges
  • 8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. — Show in the Walt Disney Theatre
For those with late seating
  • 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. — Show in the Walt Disney Theatre
  • 7:45 p.m.-8:15 p.m. — Family shows in various lounges
  • 8:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. — Dinner in one of the three rotation dining rooms
The end times shown are approximate. In addition to the family shows, there are other scheduled activities between 7:30 pm. and 8:30 p.m.

there are actually 3 different dining rotations on the 3-day cruise:

APT- Animators Palate, Parrot Cay, Tritons on consecutive nights - This rotation is often called "little kids rotation" as cruisers traveling with small ones often are assigned this...

TAP-

PTA - we had this rotation on our last cruise, and liked it very much....
