Showing reservation made by child

Firstly I apologise if this is not posted in the correct location, I wasn’t sure where to ask for advice

I’ve recently rented points, via broker, for part of our stay, and linked the reservation to My Disney Experience app, however when viewing the reservation there it shows “reservation made by” and then my 7 year old sons name. Is this going to cause any problems? I’m guessing it’s something only the owner can change, and wasn’t sure if I should reach out about it.

There is something funky and random about how the online reservation system chooses who is listed first on a reservation. I can never get it to be who I want it to be. I don't think it's something you need to change, or worry about. As long as it's in your MDE, you should be good to go.

As long as one person listed on the reservation is at least 18 and that person checks in you will not have an issue.

THe "lead guest" on the reservations has been glitchy from time to time. I don't think it will make any difference. Tell your son, he's in charge, so he has to pay for the vacation. LOL

We own DVC and I book our stays under my name. Each time we link it to My Disney Experience it shows up as being reserved by my 6 year old, lol. It’s never been an issue though!

I've had the front desk have issues locating a reservation a time or two until we hit on the person who was the lead on it. It shouldn't make a different but just something to keep in mind if they aren't locating it. Or - just give them his name when you walk up.

That's very nice of your 7 yo son. I hope he has started saving lots of allowance to pay for all the incidentals!

Our daughters are now 27 and 30 and when we bring them and their families they still are very happy to let my wife and me pay for everything. Principle aside, it doesn't bother me much... the are simply pre-spending their inheritance.

The last person on the reservation sometimes is listed as the first person. Another Disney IT fail.
