Here is a question for experienced cruisers. What is the water pressure for the showers like? DD has waist length hair -- weak pressure makes for a very long shower :rolleyes1
We are on deck 8. Will that make a difference?

We've been as high as Deck 7, and had not trouble with water pressure. My hair is mid-back and I haven't had any trouble with the shower.

Water pressure on the ships is great. We never have had a problem at all.

Much better than in the disney resorts..lol.

We have never had any problems with the water pressure. I don't think the length of someone's hair would make a different in the pressure?? What am I missing. My daughter has very long hair and she has never complained

It doesn't make a difference in the water pressure, but it can make a difference in how long it takes to rinse. If you use a thick cream rinse or conditioner, it can take FOREVER if there's not enough water pressure.

There's always been plenty of hot water in that shower, too, unlike at home this morning!

My dd has waist length hair as well, the water pressure is really good, even better than WDW resorts.

If y'all don't mind me cutting in I've been meaning to ask about the baths? I'm a bath person :)
Are they comfortable enough?

The tubs onboard are not large....it you are thinking of nice long soak and you are over 5'4 or so....you won't be too comfortable. It is great for giving kids baths....but not really meant for long baths for a full size adult.

I think the Suite cats....1, 2 & 3 may have larger tubs than the other categories.

I must have been the only unlucky one to get bad water pressure! We just got off the Magic (deck 6, category6) last Saturday and I dreaded taking a shower. I have extremely thick shoulder length hair and it took forever to rinse out the shampoo....forget conditioner! Dh and DS had no problems but they're males and don't have alot of hair to worry about.

I hope we just had some bad luck and it works fine for you. I know how frustrating it is to deal with thick hair.

Thank you everyone for your replies. :flower:

Yes, getting the shampoo and then conditioner out of DD's long, thick hair can seems neverending with low water pressure!

Stimpy: sorry to hear that you did not have good pressure. I hope that was an exception.

thanks for the bath comment--
luck would have it I'm exactly 5'4"--
don't really mind curling up but I MUST SOAK once a day :)

My hair is also waist-length, and very thick. I have no problems with the water pressure onboard. :goodvibes
