shower in stateroom question

This probably is a weird question but I am asking it anyways

i have only been on one other cruise - a Carnival one - and in preparation for that trip, was told to pack a clip magnet for the shower curtain. It actually worked really well - it held the lightweight shower curtain in place so you did not have to fight to keep it off you during the shower.

My question is this - would that be helpful or necessary on a Disney cruise? I have no idea what type of shower/curtains are on these ships. But, if i can avoid the "attack of the shower curtain" i will bring one along.

I was very wary of the curtains when I got into our shower on the Magic for fear of being attacked, but I had no problems whatsoever.

I should have explained a little better - i took along a heavy metal clip with a magnet on it. It would normally work on a file cabinet to hold papers etc... but in the Carnival cabin it held the shower curtain straight and also attached it to the bottom of the shower. I have had times in hotels where the thin shower curtain is all over you and I hate that so this solved that problem.

Sounds like that is not an issue on Disney - good to know!

we have never had any issues with the shower curtain - but you definately want to have one of those over the door shoe holders to store all of your suplies so you dont listen to those tumbling around at night!

Can't say I had any problem with the shower curtain attacking us. And we took a shower every day..!

Our shower curtain was one of those fabric ones that the water runs right thru. I know what you mean by "attack" it clings to your wet legs and then the water runs on the floor. If a magnet can cure that, go for it.

the shower is pretty tiny (extremely narrow) & yes, the curtain is touching you the whole time. since it seems the clip you are referring to is small & easy to pack into the luggage, i'd bring it.

i'll have to remember that tip next time!!
