First off I want to say we are at BWV for the first time and we love it! We got a great room on the 4th floor with a fantastic view and had a brilliant time at SWW yesterday!

But... is it just us or does the shower head in the studio bathroom suck? I don't know if there's hard water build up or what but both settings have limited pressure and I have long curly hair, I had a heck of a time getting the shampoo and conditioner rinsed out. BWV veterans is our showerhead clogged with minerals or are the heads just not all that good. I don't know if I should say anything to request a new head or just, as my hubby says, suck it up buttercup. :lmao:

We had already contacted mousekeeping when we first got into the room as 1 mug is missing and the toilet needed a recleaning as we found a couple hairs. The room otherwise is in good condition and clean as far as we are concerned. :thumbsup2

We'll definitely visit BWV again :goodvibes

I wouldn't worry about the shower head. I'd worry about whether they will be broadcasting the Stanley Cup finals anywhere near BWV.

Haven't stayed at BWV since 2007, but of the locations we've stayed, BWV was always the worst as far as bathroom upkeep. Mold, mildew, etc. Don't know if there's more humidity there for some reason. That's comparing to SSR, AKV-J and OKW.

I was in a studio at BWV last march and I agree with you: shower head in the studio bathroom suck !

When I saw that big shower head, I thought it would be wonderfull until I took a shower...

But, I loved so much the BWV, that I kind of forgot about it.. until each morning ! :lmao:

Those are THE ODDEST showerheads. They spray in a ring pattern with a hollow center.........so you have to aim yourself for the edge of the spray. LOL Very very weird so I know what you're talking about! LOL

We stayed at BWVs for a week in October and I'm pretty sure that you could turn the nozzle head so that a stronger flow would come through the center of the showerhead. It's not a strong flow like you get at BLT (people complain that those are too rough), but it's better than the outer ring.

Hmmmm.....I love a good LASER shower so I guess I better prepare myself to "run around to get wet" when I visit BWV in Oct.!

the innerring simply cascades straight to the drain, like say water from a tap simply flows straight in one stream of water down instead of showering the occupant -- rather annoying.

I was at BWV recently, haven't stayed in a Studio in quite a while and immediately remembered how much I prefer the bathroom in the larger units. I couldn't find a setting on the shower head I liked (ended up using the outer ring), and forgot how dark those bathrooms are. I wish they'd add another light above the shower or use a higher wattage bulb. Otherwise, no problems with the studio. I was in the area that faced the quiet pool (tree in the way, so couldn't see it) but had a nice view of Tower of Terror and the Swan.

ours keeps running when we shut the water off. Yes, the shower head is not the best. Ours is better than yours, tho.

Yep, we were there the first 2 weeks of May and the shower heads there are the worse. It takes two hands to adjust it. One to hold it and the other to turn it. It was hard to find a setting, but went with the none sprinkler one (the one that just pours out). I had a hard time getting the shampoo out of my hair. I had wished we could just bring our own.
