Which do you have?

Right now we have a shower door that I'm thinking about switching out to a curtain. I have always had curtains, but, this house had the doors - not to sure I like it.

Always shower doors. We have 3 full baths and all have shower doors with mirrors. I never cared for shower curtains, don't like it rubbing up against my body...uooo cooties:laughing:

Sorry, I forgot the rule

Curtains!! Hate shower doors. Have had them. They get too gross. A curtain is easy to change and can match the decor.
I do have a door on the shower stall.
The other 4 baths (2 houses) have curtains.
And the snail shower has neither :rotfl:

both. One bathroom has a door the other has a curtain. I prefer the door. Its easier to keep clean and it doesn't touch me! LOL!

Curtains. Doors and door tracks get nasty. I have childhood memories of cleaning the door track with a toothbrush. :crazy2:

curtains. much prefer them!

if you have small children, think about leaning over the rails to bathe them, you can't sit on the edge of the tub. curtains are much easier in this situation. We took doors off the tub when we moved into our house and I was expecting. Best purchase ever was a curved shower rod ($40) that makes the tub feel spacious when showering. It makes such a huge differencE!

get the shower curtain for sure!!!!!!!!

We had shower doors and they would get so disgusting and the soap scum would never come off. The my brother fell in the shower and cracked the door and it molded all inside the door.

We bought the shower rod that curves and gives you 6 more inches in the shower, so the curtain isn't sticking to the person showering. I love it :)

Curtains.
I had a door for awhile, but it was disgusting! Could NOT keep the track clean. So took it out and put a curtain back in.

We have and have had both. We have a free standing shower in our master bath now, curtain in one other bathroom, door in another. In previous baths we have had doors on tub/shower combo. I HATE the doors. Get curtains. We have the bowed rod in the kids' bath that is a tub/shower combo with the curtain and I really like that--it gives you so much more room in the shower. I HATE the doors.

Pretty shower curtains for me. Hate shower doors especially the sliding kind. The kind that open like a door aren't nearly as bad as the sliding doors.

We have shower doors; but I like shower curtains. So I hung some nice shower curtains just to add color to the room.

We bought a new house that had no rod or door on one of the showers (it was an oversized stall shower). We wanted a door but when we looked into it it wasn't worth the money to put one in. We put a rod in with a nice curtain and never really thought about it again so I guess we didn't care that much.

 I just puked a little in my mouth

I don't usually have to scrub the track, I just spray it down with clorox clean up and let it sit for awhile and rinse clean. Seems to do the job.

We have a door. It's actually not that bad. I thought I would hate it. DS is 2.5 and it's nice when I give him a bath, he can close the door and splash to his hearts content!! With the new LO I am sure there will be a time when it will be a pain when he outgrows the infant tub in the sink but it's strong enough/confident enough to sit for long alone in the tub.

I'd probably take out the doors and put in a curtian if I had the time and energy. I also wonder what will happen to the holes that are in the shower if I take the doors out. They don't seem that hard to keep clean so far but we have only been here for 2.5 months!

Curtains for sure! If you need mobility equipment at the spur of the moment, you will be up a crick if you have doors.

doors, but not the sliding kind... get the kind that actually opens out like a normal door... much easier to clean (no sliding track/etc to bother with)

spray 'em down with tilex or the like after each use, and they take care of themselves.

We have two showers with the sliding doors - hate them!

One shower has the door that opens like a door and it's not nearly as hard to keep clean.

I hate the tracks of the sliding doors.

I wish both the sliding door showers had curtains with curved rods instead.
