Phil was president of the Dracula Society, in Whitby, at the time :)

It was a great day but all the lovely photos of you in the sunshine are making me jealous......

classic Alison, I love it, just what I would have expected of you and Phil x

Ok, now control yourself from laughing too much, it was early 1990, we had no money, so the dress was hired, It was a rush job (if you know what I mean), still at the time I thought I looked great:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

this is a wonderful thread, I will have to take a picture of one of our pictures and add it tomorrow.

Well I've just had my first fitting for the wedding in Sept but I'd rather wait until I have a pic of me on the day itself. For now, here's my parents getting married in December 1970, mum is 4 months preggers here ;) Brave woman, no way i'd have the guts to wear something like that! Satying that, i'd kill for her legs in that photo - especially when pregnant!

I have dozens of old "heritage" pics from past decades if anyone would like to see them?

Here's Tony and I in 1985. Couldn't resist posting one with Tony in too - he did have hair once! :goodvibes
It's a scanned photo and for some reason it's made us both look really short!

Loving seeing everyones dresses.

Here is mine from Nov 2007. We should have been married at Sunset Pointe but due to the weather we ended up in the beautiful Wedding Pavillion

Beautiful dresses girls!! :lovestruc
I unfortunetly didnt have a big white wedding dress..:sad1: just a dress with tiny pink spots on :rotfl:
23 years ago yesterday:eek:

We had a big family wedding last saturday (2nd Aug) so I will post some photos of that later- dd was a bridesmaid :lovestruc

I met Mark in May 1991, he asked me to marry him six weeks later and we were married on 7th October 1991. We did not have any money so I got my dress, headdress, shoes and tights all for £120 out of Loot (a bit like e:bay but a paper). Although the dress was second hand the poor girl selling it had cancelled the wedding, so it had never been worn. Mark had asked me to marry him Saturday night and I had my dress by Wednesday as I went after work with my friend before our usual Wednesday quiz night! A collegue at work had been looking in Loot for a second hand fridge and noticed the advert for wedding dresses. The quality of the photos is very poor as my scanner appears to be broken so I have had to take a photo of a photo.
