Show your Disney Side: Magic Kingdom 24 Hour Event!

On 5/23-5/24 Magic Kingdom will be open from 6am to 6am!


Anyone planning on attending?


I'm getting a group of local friends together to attend, but probably wont go to the event till about 9/9:30pm. I REAAAALLLLYY want to be in the park during hours I'm normally not. Also, I'm contemplating staying to see the sun rise, but we will see how I'm feeling!

I'm trying to see how many other people are going. I know Im fairly new to the board, but I'd love to get to know some other Disney-loving people!

Also, we're apparently allowed to dress up like characters for this event! I'm having a hard time brainstorming who I'll dress up as, but I'm thinking I'll just go with the easy one, Ariel haha.

I absolutely would love to be there. Can't make it down until December though. I bet it will be a lot of fun.

Ahhhhhhhhh so so SO jealous! Have a blast! Some tips based on what I've read from trip reports from last years event...the park is PACKED until the evening. Keep an eye on the blogs, I believe for portions of the day, they close the gates, and roads are backed up for a couple miles, to MK parking. I hear its chaos, but in the evening with the majority of families with tykes leaving, it clears out some. Hope you all have a blast, well be following here from DC on the boards and blogs, jealous of the magical day! Post a report after its done if possible, so us poor unfortunate souls (like the reference ) who cant be there can live vicariously through you all!

I'll be there! I'm excited. It will be my boyfriend and I. I'm not quite sure how we plan on doing it. I think we may sleep some during the day and then come in the afternoon. (ha who am I kidding I can't sleep at Disney lol) We are dressing up as a pirate and tinkerbell (or maleficent if all my pieces come in time).

DH and I are doing the 24 hour event! We are driving over super early, and staying at WL for it! I was hoping to avoid having to drive, so I'm hoping the boats will be running during the entire event. I plan to be there early morning, and late evening, with a nap in between.

I just purchased DH the t-shirt that Sid wears in Toy Story - DH has already turned it into a daily shirt, I'm glad to see he is showing his Disney Side! I'm still trying to figure out what I'll be wearing.

I'll be there! I'll be solo. Arriving for RD and probably will stay until early evening, and I'm planning to come back before MSEP at 11pm, but we'll see lol.
