Just looked through the whole thread, some really lovely trees guys, however Im not a fan of the upside down tree although I did think the bottle one looked really cool Make sure you show us a photo Karen if you decide to make one
Not got mine up yet, next weekend I think.

we put our tree up yesterday and its not very disneyfied!!
it looks more like a tree from the Cracker Barrel!! its got gingerbread men on it etc and a bit of disney I'll post a piccie later along with a piccie of my palm tree!

Lovely trees everyone - it's great how there are so many different ones!
We put ours up last week but I decided I didn't like a whole box of the decs so I left them off. When I get around to getting some more I might post a photo.

Love those outside lights, Terri - very festive! Next year I hope to have some outside sockets so we can decorate the front of our home to our hearts content... Whereabouts in Kent are you?

Karen - not to far from you actually- just off the bottom of Brampton road Bexleyheath.
Sort of Abbey wood london/ kent borders.
lol all our friends keep driving past to see, jessies little friend wont let her mum go out without driving past looks good cos next door decorate too.

Last year we had wooden old (cold) windows, we hadnt been here long and was getting them replaced in january so we just drilled through all the frames with the leads etc, this year hes put up proper outside socket boxes like we had at the old house, we had to scale back when we moved as we dont have as much as a front garden anymore- even though its a bigger house.

Sorry we just had to buy it!! Stood for half an hour in John Lewis and listened to people's comments and then decided "yes", it's just us We really don't want traditional Christmas's anymore!! Pictures don't actually do it justice - we think it's beautiful

Well, it's how fir trees were originally displayed in the home so you could say it's really very traditional... I think it looks fab - when we replace our fake tree, I just might go for one...

Yes, just done some research on it (because Lucy asked who were the first people to turn it upside down)....found out that there is a growing group of people in America who are saying it's satanistic (sp?) Good job we are not having any visitors this christmas!!!

I keep looking at it and thinking "that's just weird" Hope i grow to love it because at £75 it will have to last longer than just this christmas!
