Show Rooms at SSR - what section are they in?

We are becoming DVC members after taking the tour at SSR this June. What section are the showrooms in? Are there only two sections of the resort? - Congress Park, which is close to Downtown Disney; and the Springs which is close to the pool, food court, etc. If I want a lake/resort view - not a DtD view - which section should I request. I really liked the view from the showrooms. Thanks for any info.

The models are located in Congress Park (first building near the sales center). All have a view towards DD across the lake.

The Springs is across from the main pool and The Paddock area is across the resort lake behind The Springs. To my knowledge, the fourth area has not yet been named- it will open in 2007,is currently under construction and will have a golf course view.

If yount a lake/resort view - not a DtD view- request a building in The Paddocks.

I agree. The models were in the Springs section, across from the pool and sales center area, when we were there in March.
