Glad to hear you got your car back! So I take it the frame wasn't damaged? My minivan has been a target the last couple of years and it's so frustrating to get them repaired.

Mine will go out today. My excuse isn't as good but I will post DC later today.

nope, frame was good. they replaced the door, the tire cover, and the bumper. It looks good, but I can tell the color difference. hopefully it will fade soon, or we may just get the whole car repainted.

Nancy, I'm just waiting for the PO to reopen after lunch and everything will be on it's way.

No worries BAMB!!! I have several still out..and need to check who hasn't checked in and PM them tonight... I'll have to do that after I find out what is going on w/ practices and games tonight... the kids want to go to the high school soccer game..and I do too considering I know alot of the kids on the team now... but the heat index is up @100 already....and I just pray they cancel practices/games so we don't have kids sick.... I know I have 4 water bottles ready (2 for each) if they decide to have practice today... but I won't be real happy about it.. unless of course they run inside..and than it's AC...

everything is postal, I'm just going to post here. Everything is bagged by swap and then bagged by group. you have goodies and return postage in a separate bag as well. I think I plowed through my entire stash of baggies on the one! LOL

After asking Cricut repeatedly to make sure they sent my replacement Bug to my office if they needed a signature, they sent it to my house. Instead of coming home to my new Bug, I came home to a "We missed you" slip. I made arrangements with Fed-Ex to have my Bug delivered to my office today so I'll be able to finish up tonight and tomorrow.

I'm sorry but my things won't be going out until Monday. Thanks for your patience!

Thanks Shauna.. NOT to worry.. We understand how the delivery people work.. I had to nicely remind my postal delivery sub that if he threw one more of my swap boxes I was gonna throw it back at him... Now he blows the horn and waits for me to come get it from him.. I told my REAL carrier he couldn't take time off any more unless he could find a nice carrier to take his place!

My package for this and the zoo tag swaps were mailed this afternoon.

I had to leave a note for my postal carrier when they changed and the new one started leaving the mailbox open with the packages sitting on the door. I found a couple that fell off into the street and left a note. She made a comment about how she has to bring our packages to the door now.

heaven for bid she has to do her job.
I cussed out our Post master because our new carrier shoved the packages into the box so much that the back door popped open. I came home to find 2 boxes of checks and 2 swap packages on the ground. We live on a really busy road and who knows where they would have ended up if I hadn't come home early.
I was quite irate, so now she beeps at me cause she won't get out of the car. If I'm not home she drops them at the garage door. I don't think she gets out of the car to do that either.

wow your postal carriers sound rude! If our stuff doesn't fit it the mailbox, he put it inbetween my two front doors and makes sure the door shuts. I have never talked to him it is just something he does. I have watched him before though at the neighbors. He is an old man and he leaves his car at the street and walks up to the house.

The Cricut has landed! It is pretty and shiny and smells new and it cuts like a dream!!!! I've done some stuff tonight but the bulk will get done tomorrow and Sunday. I'll post when I mail.

I guess my mailman is good. He fits everything in the box that he can and puts the other stuff on the little ledge next to our front door. Our mailboxes are on our houses so our mailman HAS to walk around to deliver. All y'all just have lazy mail people.

Just keeping everyone updated....

We are waiting on 4 packages...
1 went postal Thurs. should be here today...
2 were to go postal on Friday.
TPCShauna should mail today.. As soon as everything is in, I will get these sorted photographed and back out...
However, it will be the Tuesday after labor day before I can get them out... WE have back to school nights for all 5 kids this week, sports events 4 of the 5 nights.... so this weekend will be my sorting time. I hope everyone understands.. any issues please PM me... Thanks again for the understanding and patience!!!

Nancy your week sounds like last week for me. Mine was mailed on Thursday or Friday, can't remember, and my DC# is somewhere in the car. I'll look and see if I can find it. I remembered to mail it but think I forgot to post.

No worries bobcat.. they arrived Saturday.. luckily DD was home and retrieved them before the torrential downpour.. we have a covered porch...but it was soaked!!! I love watching soccer in the rain.. Yeah, note the extensive sarcasm.. and my favorite thing is having a soggy son covered in mud and the rest of the swamp to ride home in my van! And I really like when they kick the soccer ball..and I have to wear the mud and water too!

Glad it arrived safely. Just another reminder why we use ziplocks. That rain came our way and there was a funnel cloud spotted over the elementary school which is just up the street. Thankfully no one was home at the time. DS was at grandmas 40 miles away and called me while I was having dinner with my parents to let me know. LOL
