I think the beheading thing is a good idea. With the spacing between the head, body, & hat, it will give it lots of dimension.

don't completely behead, do a full body and then another head and adhere. That's what I did with a Cricut Dog and it turned out really cute.

But she's cute!!!

Lion King is done, and spectro is in my head. Will work on that tonight after the kids go to bed.

I might do the add on head.... layer her... I had them all cut out and assembled....so I will try working on her a bit more tomorrow...

She is a lighter shade than that but you did a great job with her. The second head sounds like a good idea. I have my titles for everything about done but I am still working on the second elements. If I don't get them done by Friday (between it being my first week back and my car breaking down I will bring them to Disney with me this weekend and work on them in the mornings.

Well, I heard back from Cricut CS today and they say I should expect my replacement bug NEXT WEEK! Last Friday, they said it would ship Monday morning (today) and should arrive by Thursday of this week. The email I received this morning said that I should have it by Thursday of NEXT WEEK!

I have completed most of my Block Party Bash stuff. Unfortunately, I still have tons of stuff to cut for my Show/Parade pieces and I was planning to mail together.

Hopefully, my new Bug will arrive sooner than later. In the meantime, there is some stuff I can do by hand but most requires my Bug. I can mail the Zoo stuff separately from the Show/Parade pieces if you would prefer. I'm just so frustrated because this will be almost three weeks without my Bug in the middle of 5 swaps!

Please let me know what you would like me to do. I'm really, really sorry about this. I am just so frustrated!!!!

I believe there is 15 minute difference on the boards.. the deadline was more for the ones who have NOT checked by the deadline date... so PM's are going out momentarily... it's so nice today.. we have cool temps and rain! Yipee!! It's a great day in my neighborhood; relieve from the 90 degree temps!

it's nice here too. 80 but low humidity and a slight breeze. I'm sitting by the front windows and the sun is shining in so it feels good! Days like today remind me of living in Hawaii.

I'd love to visit Hawaii..but flying, open water = no go for PN96..

the flight isn't to bad. we'll go together!! I can show where I lived.

Ah yes, we had one hurricane when we lived there. DH had to leave, they take the boats out. Don't want to risk slamming them into the pier. We lived about 3/4 the way up the hill so not to much water damage but lots of wind. I could see the ocean swells from our balcony. It would have been pretty cool if I hadn't been scared half to death for DH. 160 men in a steel tube, rolling in the ocean. Not my idea of a good time.

Yep, my brother was Navy too...and he would tell me how they would have to send the 'birds' out when the alerts came in... they would fly them toward IN..but of course he had to go out w/ the boat instead of coming home w/ the 'birds'... LOL He was on an aircraft carrier so I could only imagine what some of the other vessels would be like!!

Oh, Yes!! We'll visit the Arizona! It will be the week after the competition / convention. The first week will be spent inside, but we'll be staying over for at least a week to see the sights!
