DW and I are heading to DLR in roughly 48 hours.:hourglass
HOLY CRAP:cool1:

Anyways, I've been planning and have pretty much everything setup - while still giving us plenty of free time to just go with the flow.

My question is, what shows should we try to catch that aren't already on our schedule.
Here is what it looks like in terms of shows:

Sunday, 7/15 - (Get to parks about 3pm) Nothing planned

Monday, 7/16 - Nothing planned

Tuesday, 7/17 - World Of Color 2nd show

Wednesday, 7/18 - Aladdin at 3:20

Thursday, 7/19 - Laughing Stock Company at lunch, Fantasmic 2nd show

Friday, 7/20 - (Leave parks around 4:30pm) Nothing planned

We have ridemax running us around :rotfl2: on each day, but there are plenty of big gaps in our schedule that we could fit in shows. The issue is, I'm not sure if there really is any other show that we should worry about catching.

We aren't big parade people, but I guess it could be fun.

Any suggestions?

Much appreciated.

In DCA see the Newsboys, Five & Dime and Minnie's Fly Girls, we wanted to see Instant Show, Just Add Water but our timing didn't work so we are hoping to catch it in a few weeks. :)
I also don't see Billy Hill on your schedule and IMO that is a MUST see!!!

with Billy Hill being at the new location for the summer, can you just go in and watch or do you need to eat there? We have dinner reservations there, but I don't think they do a show at night:confused3

I didn't think Billy Hill was at the BBQ, just in that general area. hmmmmmm

Since you're not really into parades, I'm guessing you don't enjoy camping out at a parade spot for a long time either. I don't either!

Although I'm not big on parades, I do recommend you watch Mickey's Soundsational Parade; I really enjoy it more so than all the other Disney parades save for the Electrical Parade at WDW.

My favorite spot is right near the entrance after you pass under the train tracks. From my experience, the spot is still vacant up until about 15-30 minutes before the parade starts. There's a lamp post to lean against, too!

I took a video of the parade from that spot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KwwtOLSh_g

I should note that this spot is much better for the 4 PM parade. You should arrive around 3:30 PM. It might not be a bad idea for you see the parade on Sunday since you'll be entering the parks by then.

I'll also be at Disneyland on Sunday. If you see a guy in a Spider-man t-shirt near there for the parade, that's probably me :)

You should watch Fantasmic! too. My favorite spot is on the bridge in front of Pirates of the Caribbean.

I do note that if you're watching the fireworks first before heading to Fantasmic!, be prepared to face an army of a crowd stampeding in and out of Frontierland/Adventureland/New Orleans Square.
