Ive always wanted a chicken
They're fun, and not nearly as stupid as they're generally reputed to be. They each have their own personalities and their own little cliques they hang out in; ours will all come if you call them, and most will eat out of our hands.
OMG, I can't believe I forgot Clyde!
Clyde's a wild turkey (sorta) that my parents' neighbors bought (along with a female named Bonnie); they both ended up running away, Bonnie to join a pack of wild turkeys in the woods, and Clyde to my parents' barn. My mom found him sitting up in the rafters with the chickens one morning and thought he was a vulture at first glance

. At any rate, Clyde's been there ever since, going on a year and a half, probably. We think he thinks he's a chicken, since they're all he hangs out with, though actually my mom came across him strutting over near the woods a few days ago; apparently, he'd lured 2 female wild turkeys over and thought he was gonna have himself
one hot morning.

He's still none too pleased with my mom for interrupting the proceedings, though.
