Show off your door!!

We were in that room for 24 days (B2B Med/WBTA) I totally did not want to leave (even after that long).

:cutie:

Edit: BTW did they fix the porthole window? When we were in there the window was full of bubbles.
I could def stay 24 days. :cloud9:
No. We always go cat 9 but this is the 1st time I ever saw bubbles in the glass. I thought it was intentional.

They did fix the light swich by the door yesterday; it was cracked but they couldn't get an original faceplate to match. Now just a black plate thing around it.

They just replaced carpeting at the entrance area only. Now the door doesn't shut unless you push it but maybe they'll fix it to lay a little flatter. Makes the rest of room's carpeting look old, seeing the seam there of old and new combined. :guilty:

I have the magnetic paper, but we have an inkjet printer. Has anyone done this? I'm afraid it will not dry or it will smear. The paper was expensive so I don't want to throw money in the trash!

We use magnetic paper on our ink-jet printer all the time! Works like a charm. Every time it spits one out, I say "I don't get it!? How does the ink soak in there to the glossy paper so fast?!" ... never a smear and it's dry as soon as it prints.

:confused3

No problems here with magnetic paper on an ink-jet printer either. :thumbsup2

This is our door the first day of our WBTA 9/18/10

We were just next door in 2110 in Dec and it too had bubbles. I thought it was intentional as well.

We asked the stateroom host about it and he said there were about 6 or 7 rooms that had the bubbles in the windows, some had a few bubbles, others a lot. He thought that those windows had to be replaced for some reason and the company that made the new ones didn't do it right.

We made a comment on the comment card at the end of the cruise about it. We didn't like it, as it made it difficult for taking pictures out of the window and was distracting to look through if you were just watching out the window. I hope it's not a test to see if it's something they are going to do shipwide.

Didn't take away from our cruise, but yes, it was distracting for photos:

Looks like it had been raining when it hadn't been at all.

I am hoping some of the veteran DCL cruisers posting the awesome door pics might have saved their KTTW (and took a picture); I am looking for a "sample" KTTW image that I can print out to put in Christmas gifts that I made (they're little wallets with a window for your KTTW). Can anyone help?

FE (fish extenders) They hang from the fish out side your cabin and you get little gifts from your fellow cruisers and you give them something in their extender. To sign up for it you go to your cruise under the cruise meet thread and see if they are organizing one for your cruise.
