I'm big on dressing the family in matching shirts, but usually not EXACTLY matching, just a theme color (one day orange, one day green, etc) I'd love to see pics of families/friends in their matching shirts. popcorn::

I don't have pictures...but we'll do a VT t-shirt day (all different), we'll do a red t-shirt day, and we have our $5 Disney store tees (DD and I have the same one). DH and DS have matching Hawaiian Disney shirts from our last trip that still fit - they'll wear those one night to dinner. That's about it for us.

With little kids, I like dress them like at least one of the parents so if they get lost they can remember mom has a blue shirt, etc. easily.

Here's some pics of the shirts we are planning to wear in September. We have matching ones in 3 designs. The ones on the red shirts did not all turn out so well as the red from the shirts bled through the white in the iron on design. Lori

Ha, this reminded me on our last trip, we were at opening at MK there was a family in front of us in the ticket line with matching outfits - Mom, Dad, 2 kids - with these super-loud blue Mickey print outfits, pants and shirts - head to toe. Then I notice that about 50 feet down at a different queue there's another family wearing THE EXACT SAME OUTFITS.:rotfl2: I turned to my wife and said "Only at Disney - you think they look at eachother and say to themselves 'We don't look that dorky, do we?' "

Sorry, no picture though. I wanted to take one with one family in the foreground and the other in the background, but couldn't get an angle without being too obvious.

I personally like wearing "Classic" stuff to the parks as opposed to matching stuff. My DW wore her "WDW 25th anniversary" shirt from 1997 last trip and got a lot of comments from cast members. And I wear my "I survived Summit Plummet" from '97.

Great idea for a thread, though.

Sorry no pics either-but as the family likes to sometimes go in grps. & different directions at the parks-it's a good idea to plan & color coordinate for the day. I'm not big on going different ways-but with an age difference it tends to keep everyone happy! Thanks for the idea!

My group usually has one day that we usually wear matching shirts. The group pictures usually look pretty cute from that day! We try and have them be bright colors too, so we stand out a little. That and it's easy when you are in line for a ride/show and you don't have to say "ok the last in our group is the guy back there with the hat on." ( because there are no multiples of that look there)

The creative "DISigns" forum has some wonderful ladies who will make custom designs for you....look to the bottom of the forum list. I took those designs, printed them on iron-on transfer paper I bought at Michaels and ironed them onto t-shirts also from Michaels. The 4 shirts for the family were $10 total and the package of iron on's was $6 with my 40% off coupon. My poor husband is a little mortified by the whole idea, but he just says, "I guess no one will know me there, anyway!"

Here's a couple more brightly colored ones I did for just the kids. Husband refused to wear anything lime green :)

Not Disney, but –

One of our kids is a big baseball fan, the other is into classic rock -- the other day they just happened to wind up wearing these not exactly matching shirts.
